The Younger Members' Society is the latest Oriental Club society to be formed. It exists to provide a focus for those Members and Associate Members under the age of 35. The Society intends to hold a small number of age appropriate events through the year as well as holding an Annual Society Dinner.

The real benefit is gained through the Oriental Club's participation in the Younger Members' Inter-Club Group, which was founded in 2005 to ensure that the younger members of London's 'Clubland' get the most out of being the latest generation to join this rich and diverse tradition. Membership of the Society offers an opportunity for our younger members to socialise with like minded people and make new friends, at a time when the pressures of climbing the career ladder make preservation of the work/life balance ever more challenging. Each participating Club hosts one event each year and all of the Oriental Younger Members' Society are eligible to attend. There is no additional subscription to pay.

The other 16 participating clubs are:- Army & Navy, Caledonian, Carlton, City University, Farmers, Hurlingham, Lansdowne, National Liberal, Oxford and Cambridge, Queens, Reform, Royal Automobile, Royal Over-Seas League, Savage, Savile and Travellers Clubs, though it is hoped that this number will grow further.

The Inter-Club Group have their own web-site and are also on Facebook. The inaugural event of the 2008 social calendar was a very successful curry supper held at Stratford House. The evening was a complete sell-out with over ninety 'Young' members from the Inter-Club Group enjoying traditional Oriental Club curry.
