Chess Society

The Chess Society usually meets around once per month, other than match nights. Chess Society meetings commence around 6.30pm, are convivial and followed by dinner in the Club. The Society welcomes new members and caters for any standard of play and even non-playing members, who are all welcome to attend the Annual Society Dinner.

Society members also compete on a team basis against other London Clubs in Friendly as well as Cup matches. This year will see us again field a joint team in conjuction with the East India Club. Friendly Home matches will be played at the East India Club and Cup Home matches at the Oriental.
