This
is the principal entertaining room.
It houses a magnificent collection of volumes on
the Orient which may also be borrowed by members
only. The cherry wooden panelled walls have inlaid
paintings and are delicately decorated with gold
leaf which has produced a truly impressive room. |
The
library is a spacious, stylish venue for business
and society functions alike. The anteroom connects
to the library and makes the perfect venue for a
reception prior to a lunch/dinner or for teas and
coffees prior to a conference. Standing receptions
for up to 110 people are regularly held and silver
service luncheons/dinner can be served to as many
as 46 people. |
